what is a good dance magazine?

I am a ballet dancer, but i also dance many other styles, and i want to subscribe to a dance magazine. what is a good magazine, and how are they different. i was thinking about subscribing to pointe magazine, but i dont know if i should.

3. There are 2 very good ones. First Dance magazine which others have mentioned and Pointe magazine which is geared more towards ballet. Pointe, which comes out every other month, is a lot cheaper than Dance magazine per issue and they have a better list of summer Intensive auditions. Obviously, Pointe is all about Ballet. Dance Magazine, which comes out once a month, covers ballet along with other types of dance. We used to get both.*Note: you can get a small student discount to "Dance" magazine if you ask for it. Most of the other dance magazines on the market are pretty poor unless you are interested in competition dance.

5. yes. suscribe to pointe magazine. i love it. there are i think 6? issues a year... one is a summer intensive issue, one is a company issue and then there are othres but those are the best ones. i really like it. there are always interesting stories, a look inside a famous dancers ballet bag, tons of usful advice, and some really interesting articles, also there are reviews of dances, and obutaries of famous ppl in dance world that died recently. and upand coming ballets. and tons more. dance magazine is good, but it isnt for like younger kids. my mom cancelled the subscribtion when i first subscribed (aboout 4 years ago) because there was a whole issure on gay men and dance. and if they are or arent gay. and there are issues about anorexia and a bunch of stereotypes. its really good but a lot of it is too mature for younger kids. dance spirit magazine is good too. my friend gets it and loves it. she is in to diff. styles and this one covers all aspects. but personally, i thnk the best is pointe. my advice to u is to subscribe to it.
